The evaporator unit is located in or near your cellar, and the condensing unit is generally located outside, or in an attic or utility room. The [Platinum Mini-Split](https://www.wineracks.com/whisperkool-platinum-mini-split.html) allows you to decide where the evaporator unit and the condensing unit will be located. The condensing unit can be located up to 100 ft. away from the evaporator unit. The evaporator unit will be mounted in the cellar or it can also be located nearby with ducting. Note: - A qualified HVAC-R technician is required for installation. Failure to have the system installed by a qualified technician will void the warranty - The use of the 24-volt thermostat conversion kit eliminates the thermostat normally included with the system and allows your contractor to select, purchase and install the thermostat technology of your choice, including but not limited to Nest, Ecobee, and Honeywell. By selecting the 24V Thermostat Conversion Kit, you have acknowledged that the system will not be built with the standard WhisperKOOL control or liquid measuring bottle probe. You will have to source and purchase your own 24V thermostat to run the equipment. ![file\_pdf](https://info.wineracks.com/hs-fs/hubfs/file_pdf.png?width=48&name=file_pdf.png)[Owners Manual for Ductless Platinum Mini-Split](https://info.wineracks.com/hubfs/whisperkool%20manuals/Ductless_Split-Mini_Platinum_Split.pdf) ![file\_pdf](https://info.wineracks.com/hs-fs/hubfs/file_pdf.png?width=48&name=file_pdf.png)[Owners Manual for Ductless Platinum Mini-Split with High Efficiency Condenser](https://info.wineracks.com/hubfs/whisperkool%20manuals/Platinum-Mini-Split-HE.pdf) ![file\_pdf](https://info.wineracks.com/hs-fs/hubfs/file_pdf.png?width=48&name=file_pdf.png)[Owners Manual for Ductless Platinum Mini-Split with 24v Thermostat](https://info.wineracks.com/hubfs/whisperkool%20manuals/Ductless_Split-Mini_Platinum_Split_24V.pdf)   - [Assembly Instructions](https://info.wineracks.com/assembly-instructions#main-content) - [Prestige Series Wine Cellar Racking Assembly Instructions](https://info.wineracks.com/assembly-instructions#prestige-series-wine-cellar-racking-assembly-instructions) - [Pine Value Series Assembly Instructions](https://info.wineracks.com/assembly-instructions#pine-value-series-assembly-instructions) - [Small Capacity Racks Assembly](https://info.wineracks.com/assembly-instructions#small-capacity-racks-assembly) - [Wood Retail Wine Display Assembly Instructions](https://info.wineracks.com/assembly-instructions#wood-retail-wine-display-assembly-instructions) - [VintageView W Series](https://info.wineracks.com/assembly-instructions#vintageview-w-series) - [VintageView Vino Series](https://info.wineracks.com/assembly-instructions#vintageview-vino-series) - [VintageView Case & Crate](https://info.wineracks.com/assembly-instructions#vintageview-case-crate) - [VintageView Evolution](https://info.wineracks.com/assembly-instructions#vintageview-evolution) - [VintageView IDR Retail Rack Assembly Instructions](https://info.wineracks.com/assembly-instructions#vintageview-idr-retail-rack-assembly-instructions) - [Wire Retail Wine Display Assembly](https://info.wineracks.com/assembly-instructions#wire-retail-wine-display-assembly) - [Glass Wine Cellar Enclosures](https://info.wineracks.com/assembly-instructions#glass-wine-cellar-enclosures) - [Custom Service Hardware Ladders and Kits](https://info.wineracks.com/assembly-instructions#custom-service-hardware-ladders-and-kits) - [La Vieille Garde Web Kits](https://info.wineracks.com/assembly-instructions#la-vieille-garde-web-kits) - [Transtherm Wine Fridges](https://info.wineracks.com/assembly-instructions#transtherm-wine-fridges) - [Spec Sheets & Info](https://info.wineracks.com/spec-sheets-info#main-content) - [VintageView W Series Specifications](https://info.wineracks.com/spec-sheets-info#vintageview-w-series-specifications) - [VintageView Vino Series Specifications](https://info.wineracks.com/spec-sheets-info#vintageview-vino-series-specifications) - [VintageView Case & Crate Specifications](https://info.wineracks.com/spec-sheets-info#vintageview-case-crate-specifications) - [VintageView Evolution Specifications](https://info.wineracks.com/spec-sheets-info#vintageview-evolution-specifications) - [VintageView Helix Series Specifications](https://info.wineracks.com/spec-sheets-info#vintageview-helix-series-specifications) - [Transtherm Wine Fridges](https://info.wineracks.com/spec-sheets-info#transtherm-wine-fridges) - [Owners Manuals](https://info.wineracks.com/owners-manuals#main-content) - [Wine Guardian Owners Manuals](https://info.wineracks.com/owners-manuals#wine-guardian-owners-manuals) - [WhisperKOOL Owners Manuals](https://info.wineracks.com/owners-manuals#whisperkool-owners-manuals) - [Transtherm Wine Fridges](https://info.wineracks.com/owners-manuals#transtherm-wine-fridges) - [CryoChiller™ Beverage Chiller](https://info.wineracks.com/owners-manuals#cryochiller-beverage-chiller) - [Partners](https://info.wineracks.com/partners#main-content) - [Training Info](https://info.wineracks.com/partners#training-info) - [Library Downloads](https://info.wineracks.com/partners#library-downloads) - [Marketing Resources](https://info.wineracks.com/partners#marketing-resources) - [Default HubSpot Blog](https://ideas.wineracks.com/) [![](https://info.wineracks.com/hs-fs/hubfs/wineracks_logo_transparent.png?width=1262&height=293&name=wineracks_logo_transparent.png)](https://info.wineracks.com/) WineRacks.com Help Center Copyright © 2026, WineRacks.com
